Commissary 6/28 shopping trip and coupon matchup...only a 35% savings...

Today, I mostly only needed fruits, veggies, and some milk...and I didn't really have coupons for many of those...

Before coupons:  $31.73
Coupon savings:  $11.00
Total spent after coupons:  $21.73
35% savings

Here's what I bought with coupons:

Tide Stain release:  FREE + .06 OVERAGE
-Used $3.00/1 from 6/5 P&G (I bought 3 bottles)

Johnsons baby wash:  $1.65
-Used $1.00/1 coupon

Romain Lettuce:  Paid .98
-Used $1.00 off any lettuce wyb any wesson oil.
*They had the 16 oz. Wesson oil on sale for .50--so, basically I got this for free plus an extra .50 off my lettuce!!

Without coupons I bought:

2 gallons of milk
Spent $1.12 on bananas
Spent $3.03 on apples
Spent 1.18 on two green bell peppers
Spent $2.20 on plums
Spent $1.18 on 2 zucchini
Spent $1.09 on bag of baby carrots (Leila loves to eat these for snacks)
Spent $1.58 on cookies from the bakery (messy surprise for the girls that their dad picked up).

*Fruit and Veggies definitely add up!*


I forgot to check out the webber seasoning...in this past weeks paper (6/26 SS), there was a coupon for $1.00 any webber seasoning and they have those little seasoning packets for like .50 or something...I meant to pick one up but we were in a big hurry...
